This one is hopped exclusively with Centennial hops. Great head and lacing. Strong hop and pine aroma. Tastes super hoppy, with slight pine overtones. Wonderful mouthfeel. Finishes hoppy, malty/sweet, with slight dryness, citrus, and honey at the finish. Very complex. An awesome IPA. egajdzis (3629), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 11, 2004 Poured a hazy copper color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma was sweet and malty, caramel and butterscotch, with light citrus hops as well. Taste seems to have lost all its fresh hoppy dominance, it is now balanced between bitter grapefruit hops, and sweet and strong malts. Very full bodied. Dickinsonbeer (3496), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 28, 2005 Probably the 3rd best of all their experimental IPA’s. Good pine aroma and taste with hints of citrus and moderately resiny. Smooth finish and good bitterness. TomDecapolis (3196), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 10, 2007 On tap at Sly Fox in Royersford...take this baby out of retirement! Pours a lightly hazy golden orange/amber with a medium bubbly/creamy off white head that left nice lacing. Aroma of orange, pine, grapefruit, some floral notes and caramel. Flavor of orange zest, pine and grapefruit. Very nice chewy hop flavor with a great caramel lightly toasted and nutty malt balance. Nice lingering hop bitterness. This has become my favorite American hop even in my own home brews...Sly Foxfeatures it nicely here. after4ever (2794), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 13, 2008 12-oz., handbottle. Thanks, Bitbucket! Pours crystal clear medium amber with gold overtones. Dense moussy off-white head that falls quickly away leaving very little lace. Huge piney nose--first thing you think of is a Christmas tree. Nice medium body with sharp tingly carb. It’s actually a bit raw. Harshly bitter in a bracing, spectacularly delicious way from the mid-palate through the finish. Yum. michael-pollack (2716), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 19, 2004 Draught: Brian O’Riley continues to create amazing brews! This IPA was wonderful. It smelled of Cascade hops, and was a bit floral and sweet smelling as well. Appearence was amber/brown color. Poured with nice creamy white head. Provided big thick lacing. Flavor was pure Cascade. Nothing more, nothing less. I could drink this all day, so needless to say, the palate was great. Also had an awesome dry-bitter finish. Overall, I love Cascade IPA. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA
