On tap at the Royersford location. Pours a medium reddish brown with red/orange when held to the light. Smaller light tan bubbly head that did not really sustain. Aroma of toasted malts, nuts and maybe a light hop. Flavor of nuts, chocolate, toasy malts, caramel, coffee and toffee. This one was mellow in the aroma (as expected) but actually had a very nice flavor.

Draught: Smells nutty and sweet. Good balance of malt and hop scent. Also a hint of choclate. Poured medium brown color with a hint of amber. Clear. No particles. Nice, big, creamy, off-white head. Head lasted a while before diminishing. Flavors of choclate, nuts (hazlenut?), and coffee. A bit sweet. Light to medium body. Well balanced. Slightly sweet finish of average duration. Overall, a nice Brown Ale.

sampled in Pheonixville. Pour was med/light cherry brown. Aroma was very mild malts. Some carmel and subtle walnuts in the flavor but very thin and unimpressive.

Tap. Pours a weak reddish brown with a minimal head. Not too much of an aroma, but there are some malty and nutty notes. Overall, Pete’s Peerless is WAY better.

Drfat at the brewey. Crisp clean beer. A little on the light brown side. Had a slight bitter bite to it. Not a bad beer at all.

Not a very impressive beer, very weak, watery, very little body, a bit on the bland side, not a whole lot of flavors happening with this one, brown in color, nice off-white head, but very little lacing around the glass, very disappointing

Phoenixville, PA location. Dark bornw pour with aroma of caramel malt, bigger hops than I would have suspected, and toffee. Tastes malty, with caramel, toffee, and hops at the finish. Very good, but not elite.

Pours dark amber. Aroma of mild sweet malt. Flavor is roasted malt, slight nut and caramel. Fairly mild and clean.
