Pours a medium reddish brown with red/orange when held to the light. Smaller light tan bubbly head that did not really sustain. Aroma of toasted malts, nuts and maybe a light hop. Flavor of nuts, chocolate, toasy malts, caramel, coffee and toffee. This one was mellow in the aroma (as expected) but actually had a very nice flavor. michael-pollack (2741), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 4, 2005 Not a very impressive beer, very weak, watery, very little body, a bit on the bland side, not a whole lot of flavors happening with this one, brown in color, nice off-white head, but very little lacing around the glass, very disappointing
