Pours a translucent orange amber with a small off white head. Aroma of floral hops, some citrus and caramel malts as well. Flavor was bitter grapefruit, one dimensional as expected, but decently balanced out.

Draught @ Pheonixville: Smells hoppy and bitter with hints of cherry, choclate, pepper, and malts. Orange in color. Clear. Small white head. Small lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet but heavily bitter. Tastes of hops, cherrys, pepper, and a little roasted. Medium body. Lively carbination. Bitter finish. Leaves mouth bitter. Overall, a good all around IPA I could drink a lot of.

Deep copper in color, huge off-white head, nice lacing around the glass, aroma full of hops & citrus, very dry & sharp flavor, very hoppy, also notes of caramel & a bit of citrus in the body, very dry & spicy finish, another very good IPA

Another very good IPA from the Sly Fox. This one is deep copper going toward brown with a 1-finger off-white head. The aroma is fruity citrus with hops and caramel malt hints. The flavor is fruity and a bit dry initially, with emerging grapefruit, honeydew, and canteloupe ay mid-palate. Nice complexity and balance.

Cask. Big bubbly head, hazy orange/amber body. Hoppy, floral aroma, but a bit light. Flavor is super hoppy, chock full of chinook (duh) character. Very bitter and dry with some pine notes and a sour grapefruit aspect. Extremely tart and bitter finish. I like it a lot!

Appears a dark, murky amber with a soapy head that quickly fades. Tiny remnants of lace are left. Smell is of floral aromas, along with a caramel biscuity malt detected. Perhaps a touch of citrusy grapefruit coming through but not much. Seems very tame, especially coming from the firkin. Taste is of acidic floral hops with a touch of malt that is trying so hard to balance this one out but fades short of the accomplishment. Mouthfeel is bitter indeed. It seems like it’s up there on the IBU scale but I’m just not getting a sweet balance. It’s a bit overkill of bitterness in this one. Drinkability is decent. Definitely not my first choice of Brian’s IPA’s.
