| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Another very good pale ale from the Sly Fox. This entry of the 09 Project pours a bright and clear amber color with a generous off-white head. There was substantial lacing left around the glass in a cascading fashion. The nose was full of citrusy and floral hops, along with some hints of grass, caramel and toasted bread. The flavors were dry and spicy, with notes of nuts, citrus, grapefruit and a touch of caramel. The finish was smooth, very dry and spicy with a big grapefruit flavor. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Tap at Barcade. Pale amber beer. Thin head. The aroma is quite lovely. Softly spicy and herbal over a fairly light crisp crackery maltiness. Lightly zesty with a fairly lean bitterness. It’s got a pretty solid spicy/herbal flavour as well that works pretty well with the bready yeast. Pretty nice APA. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 25, 2009 Tap at P-ville. Pours medium coppery toward dark straw at the bottom with 1-finger of off-white head. Nose is lemongrassy hops, pale malt, florals, citrus, and mild bready notes. Tastes citric, hoppy, with caramel. Not bad, but not as good as the varietal IPAs. BREWMUSKCLES (1080), New Jersey, USA
