Sweet and malty nose with chocolate notes. Nice taste of malts, toffee and chocolate. It’s also ice cold. So maybe I should have let it warm up a bit to get more flavour out of it. Very smooth. Goes down well. jb (1056), Rochester, New York, USA

The look of this is nice. An autumn color, burnt sienna, some head. Very doughy nose with a bit of spiciness. Mouthfeel is tingly and clean. Palate is malty and spicy similar to the nose, decent session beer. iggynelix (16), Pennsylvania, USA

So balanced and drinkable it was my go-to for a while. Aroma of sweet caramel malts and mellow hops. Flavor is smooth and balanced, caramel, grain and faint hops. GG (1658), NorCal, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 8, 2009 Nice to have another craft beer option in a can, but it was just a so-so option at best. First, the beer poured out with a HUGE eruptive head that was 100% foam in my glass as I poured it. It literally took up the entire contects of my glass with foam, and had to wait at least 5-10 minutes until it melted. Overpressured or infected? Thankfully, perhaps just overpressured. The body was a clear mahogany brown color. Aroma is light caramel malts. Flavor is light caramel, a bit of brown sugar and some metallic notes. decaturstevo (2007), decatur, Tennessee, USA
