| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 8, 2007 12oz can from secret santa. Aroma had a decent caramel along with some roasted grains. Brown cloudy body with big tan head. Found some sediment at the bottom of glass. Has a roasted caramel malt flavor but every other swig a barley carbinated grain aluminum appears. Complex beer to say the least. Semi sweet malt left on palate. I beleive this beer would be good with a fine cigar. Dickinsonbeer (3517), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA

Pours a very nice effervescent dep coppery borwn- clear and a nice lasting fluffy off white head. Lot sof wierd hazy particles floading around as well- some yeasty clumps etc. Aroma is on the weka side- some light doughy malts, lgith cracker, and some delicate sweet toasted malts. Flavor has a somewhat slick caramel sweetness, with toasted malts, hints of nuts, and lots of dark toffee. Light bitter with some roast in the aftertaste. Appearance :Light brown with amber ruby light see trough, good well build rocky crown on top. Good lacing 4+
Nose :Fresh malty nose, hint of caramel and aromatic mineral hops with bit of nutmeg. Pleasant.7+ Flavour/Palate:
Medium bodied. Mineral character up front with sweet caramel middle. Toasty malts with hint of burnt on side. A bit short finish. Medium high carbonation. Refreshing in hot summer day. Perhaps a bit too harsh and short lived character but solid overall proper dunkel from PA.
