Oh yeah... typical dark lager, you know, malty, pretty good. Def not on par with a Victory Dark Lager or anything, but... I like this style, so thumbs up. Plus, it’s awesome that you can get it in a can.

[252-20070406] 355mL (w/ jerc). Fresh whole wheat bread yeast aroma with some alcohol and some sweet hints of floral apricot. Hazy, dark brown amber body with a thick medium-lasting foamy light tan head. Some toasted malt and grainy bread yeast in the flavour, finishes sweetly. Medium body has noticeable alcohol. Nice blending otherwise.

Clear light reddish brown, moderate head with average lacing and retention. Aroma is caramel, bread, dark sugar, hint of roasted malts and fruits. Decent.

Can from Premier Gourmet. Dark brown, good sized beige head. (3+) Lightly toasty caramel malt with a sweet character and a whisp of marshmallow that is probably not really there. Flavour is sweet caramel malt up front but gives way to a drier, more bitter toasty malt flavour profiles. Average to medium palate. Quite liked it up front, but was ambivalent by the end of the glass. Decent. 7/4/7/3/14

Can. Poured a deep copper body with huge head. Aroma is of malt, nuts, caramel. Flavor was malty with the above aromas blending in. Slightly dry. At the end I found myself like this quite a bit. Good beer in a can.

Poured from can into imperial pint glass. Pour is brown with some amber highlights. Head is creamy mix of small and large white bubbles. Aroma is sweet malt, chocolate and caramel, but very light. Flavor is subtle and smooth.

(can - 12 oz) Clear amber with a lot of fizzy tan head. Aroma is malty, sweet, estery, and fruity. Some dark fruits and caramel malts are in there as well. Kind of light. Flavor is thin with some caramel, nuts, toffee, metal, and dry grain. Finish is smooth and sweet with a little bitter and watery body.

I love cans. Poured a clear dark golden amber color with a small off-white head. Caramel malt and semi-sweet aroma. DMS aroma giving a light corny and sulfur nose. The flavor was mildly sweet with notes of caramel and toffee. Semi-sweet finish with a mild bitterness.
