Bubbles cling to the glass, Sticky, tan head loaded with heady, roasty grains. Flavor is sweet and nutty, you’d swear this beer was imported from Bavaria. Tastes like Andechser. The only negative is the body is on the slight side and once it warms just a bit, it’s becomes a bit too sweet. Nothing wrong with the flavor though. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 31, 2008 Can from Super Saver in Pennington, NJ. Pours a very nice dark amber with a beige head. Aroma of bread and lightly roasted malts. Medium to light bodied with a refreshing texture- although slightly on the thin side. Flavor of sweet dark bread, wet grains, tea, munich malts, roasted malt, and nuts. This has a nice balancing herbal bitterness. Some slight dryness on the finish with a slight tang. Fairly complex for a lighter style session beer. A little more body would be ideal for my personal tastes. Under rated IMO. artistsatwork (25), USA

Appearance :Light brown with amber ruby light see trough, good well build rocky crown on top. Good lacing 4+
Nose :Fresh malty nose, hint of caramel and aromatic mineral hops with bit of nutmeg. Pleasant.7+ Flavour/Palate:
Medium bodied. Mineral character up front with sweet caramel middle. Toasty malts with hint of burnt on side. A bit short finish. Medium high carbonation. Refreshing in hot summer day. Perhaps a bit too harsh and short lived character but solid overall proper dunkel from PA.
