On draft in the home kegerator... Appears a murky dark brown/copper toned with a nice 3 finger beige head hanging around in my tall Brooklyn Weisse glass. It never really goes away and tons and tons of sticky lacing are clinging all over the place. Smell is of Bazooka Joe, bananas, sugary wheat, cloves, along with chocolate and light caramel malt. Taste is of the same aromas...there is no other way to argue it. Upon original review, I felt that the mouthfeel was a little on the thin side but after careful review, it’s just a subtle taste zipping along the palate with a delicate spice that is to be appreciated. Sugary and spicy with a clove and chocolate malt lingering. I actually like this dark version of the Fox’s German wheat beers a bit more.

Pours a cloudy brown with hints of orange. Average off white creamy head. Strong aroma of weizen yeast, banana, clove, bubblegum, wheat, sweat malty with some caramel. Flavor was a bit toasty with lots of yeast, banana, clove, ,a bit nutty and some hints of citrus.

Draught @ Brewery: Huge aroma of banana, cloves, and bubblegum. Dark, cloudy, copper color. Big, light-tan head. Cloudy. Flavors of cloves, with a little banana and pepper. Lasting finish. Easy to drink. Medium bodied. I do not personally love this beer, but it is clearly well-crafted.

Poured a cloudy brown color with a nice off white head. Wheaty clove aroma with a spicy banana, and clove taste. This was pretty decent!

Notes. Poured hazy dark brownsih with both hefe and dunkel aromas. The taste was hopcity, with banana, caramel malt, cloves, and other spices. Not as good as St. Victory, but very good.

Draught: This was a good one to sit and drink. The beer poured a cloudy, mahogany color. There was some head to it, with a bit of retention. Some wheat and yeastiness to the nose. Also some banana? The taste is a good, medium bodied wheat. There was a hint of sourness. These 23oz glasses went down far too easy.

"Poured a brown amber color with a average size head, left a little bit of lacing. Arom was of banana and cloves. Flavor was much the same. Over all a good beer."

On tap at the Royersford location. Poured a dark and murky brownish color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of bananas, wheat, and light spices. Tastes of banana, wheat (stronger than the aroma), cloves and caramel.
