Growler from Whole Foods Bowery. Pale golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma is pretty nice. Light clove, peach and soft spiciness. There is a lightly honeyed sweetness with a very Duvelesque character. Soft crackery Belgian malts on the back. Pretty lean-bodied with a very nice dryness. There is a light kiss of pear/apple and spice as well. Soft, lightly herbal bitterness. This is a pretty solid Belgian Strong Ale.

Poured a lightly hazy golden color with a small white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, phenols, bananas, clove and candy sugar. Taste of yeast, citrus, banana, clove, white pepper, and light alcohol as well. Nice, straight-forward belgian.

From a sixtel I purchased at the Beer Yard in Wayne. Golden, thin creamy head. Sweet aroma, can definitely smell the "Belgian" in it. Scarily drinkable, crisp, clean, slightly fruity.

Pretty strong and sweet and smooth. Nice full body and creamy mouthfee. Some sweet fruit and nice malts. A touch of wood. Seems to have changed a bit from bottle to bottle. Two magnums from the draft I originally had. Still good but a little odd spice and more plain caramel.

Growler from Big Z in tulip. Gold with ring head. Spicy yeasty sweet aroma. Honey melon spicy clove with bitter dry finish. Pretty good Belgian blond. I could sit by the canal in Brugge and enjoy this.

Tap: Pours a golden straw color with a white head. The taste is of fruity esters with a little banana, cloves, and coriander being present. The yeast is also very present. From taste I thought this was a trippel.
