Appearance: Bright, hazy gold with large vigorous top.3+.
Nose : Lightly hopped wheat ale , touch of clove and banana, some spice as well.
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied , smoothness interrupted with its excessive carbonation. Finish was cleaner, calmer with hint of mineral touch. Softer at end.

Wheat aroma with a slight amount of fruitiness. Cloudy orange color with a medium white head that quickly fades. Bitter start that fades in the finish. Palate is not sticky.

Pours a hazy straw color, with a huge head that dissipates quickly - strong wheat in the aroma, with thick notes of clove, nuts, flowers, and cardamom - full mouthfeel, medium body - wheaty/bready and a bit tart up front - some nutty character and a bit of the clove come through afterwards - the tartness makes way for a rather strong bitterness for the style, as well as some peppery qualities - gets a bit dry and chalky near the finish, and the tartness returns - some phenolic character in the finish, and a bit of spicy warmth (alcohol?) - an unusual hefe, but it’s refreshing despite this.

Can, thanks Todd! Cloudy yellow, big tanned foam. Perfumed clove aroma, a little bit fead yeast. Fairly spicy flavor - besides the clove, orangepeel a bit cardemom and pepper. Dusty white bread, a good bit citric hops in the finish. Some slightly weird phenolic notes as well giving it a bit muddled impression overall. Interesting though.

A very appealing American hefe version. Drank this one on Tap at Firewaters In Chadds Ford, PA. Visually it is almost more like a dunkel weizen, but the flavor is a strong bodied brew of citrus and coriander. Excellent head and a very good palate. One of my favorite American Hefe’s.

Light hazy golden-orange in colour, large lingering pillowy white coloured head, excellent lacing. The aroma is quite citrusy, yeasty, wheaty with just a hint of sourness. The flavour is spicy, some wheat, yeast, lots of orange citrus, bready and musty. Moderately bitter/spicy mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. FInishes lightly spicy, some citrus.

Quite good, wonderful balance, good spice and citrus throughout.

355ml can obtained in a trade with TheCheeseMan, thanks Dan.
