A- Murky bright orange hue, off-white wispy foam retains, big thick lacing
S- Moderate pine resin hops, slightly acidic citrus, tinges of caramel malts and alcohol
T- Initial taste is mostly super-bitter hops and sweet caramel malts, finishes very dry and bitter
M- Medium-bodied, oily texture coats the mouth, mild carbonation
D- An uber bitter IPA that is bold and interesting but somewhat lacking in flavors, rather ambivalent about this one so I probably wouldn’t get it again. johnadam2002 (529), Hainesport, New Jersey, USA

Flavor was mostly the same but finished rather dry. Still very drinkable at 7%. Ty5592 (1015), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Aromas of citrus and an earhty / floralness. Tastes of citurs, light caramel, and pine. Smooth body. golubj (1290), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 28, 2007 Draft at Barcade. Aroma of some grainy malt, a little citrus and some pine. The malt is really bad in this one; grainy and corny. The hops aren’t too impressive either; just not fresh tasting or crisp. alexanderj (2280), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 28, 2007 On tap at Barcade; was really disappointed with this beer. I liked the concept of brewing different IPAs this year. Main problem was the hop flavor; it just wasn’t very good for me. JoeMcPhee (5030), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 3, 2007 Tap at Blind Tiger. Pale amber, crystal clear with a non-existant head. Aroma is quite woody and bitter smelling. Quite thin-bodied, pale industrial malt. Very woody/herbal smelling. Very strong assertive bitterness. Light orangey and lemony citrus. Comes across fairly astringent on the finish. This one didn’t work for me.
