Ole_R (1289), Oslo, Norway Sep 6, 2008 Bottle from Hotel Havana, Oslo. Fully diminishing offwhite coarse head. Cloudy orangey-brown body. Fresh and fruity hop nose; lemon, unripe pinapple and a hint of pine, supported by a light caramellish malt scent. Taste is dry malty, has a fine bitterness, and a fruity acidity with a twist of vinegar. Medium body. Dry, almost tart fruity ending. thebeertourist (1889), Oslo, Norway Aug 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with some sediment and a tan creamy head. Interesting fruity aroma, quite sharply acidic, orange zest, but adding to that passion fruit and soothing toffee. Good bitterness, orange zest dominates, quite dry. It is miles away from an English pale ale; though containing no wheat, it certainly comes close to some saisons. Refreshing it is, anyway. Nice, fresh, hoppy aroma with a thin malty body underneath. There is, however, some citric acid lurking underneath in this one, too, so I thing this should be drunk as fresh as possible. larsga (2314), Oslo, Norway Jun 6, 2008 Thin white head. Hazy orange body. Citric tropical fruit aroma with toffeeish malt notes and some plums. Dry citric tropical fruit taste with grapefruit notes. Aftertaste is all fruit: oranges, mango, and grapefruit. Very dry all the way through, almost a bit harsh. Very unusual, but grows on prolonged acquaintance. Nice. (Small sample from bottle, Bølgen & Moi, Oslo.)
