Pours an "old copper penny" color with a moderate sized but persistent off-white head. Nose is mild with notes of bread and malt. Flavor is clean and a well balanced blend of malt and hops with slightly bready notes. Slight, understated and short-lasting finish of bitter-sweet hops.

Jul 19, 2008 Very attractive and simple beer its not overpowering at all you can definitely taste some sort of toffee not hoppy or overcarbonated just a light good tasting ale its a good beer to keep in your rotation

Jul 17, 2008 They should just call this beer "Guiness Light". You can definitely tell it’s from the same brewers. It’s not bad though, roasty, malty flavors on the pallet, maybe a hint of coffee??? I don’t know, but basically it’s Guiness with a lighter kick to it.

Jul 14, 2008 Taste 7/8. My bottle says 4.5abv not the listed 5%. Looks: Clear brown, light lacing.Aroma: Grain/malt, yeast. Taste: Better than expected with Guinness on the label. Ingredients come through well. Round, spicy and toasted.Mild sour yeast. Mildly sticky. Fills the mouth well. Worth brewing and drinking.
