changeup45 (525), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 13, 2008 Pours a amber color with a decent sized head. Slightly sweet, roasted malt flavor with a touch of hops. Somewhat of a thin, watery mouthfeel. Easy drinking and a pretty good, easily obtainable beer.
ethomson (15), Huntington Beach, California, USA Jul 17, 2008 They should just call this beer "Guiness Light". You can definitely tell it’s from the same brewers. It’s not bad though, roasty, malty flavors on the pallet, maybe a hint of coffee??? I don’t know, but basically it’s Guiness with a lighter kick to it. zappafan99 (214), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Jul 14, 2008 Taste 7/8. My bottle says 4.5abv not the listed 5%. Looks: Clear brown, light lacing.Aroma: Grain/malt, yeast. Taste: Better than expected with Guinness on the label. Ingredients come through well. Round, spicy and toasted.Mild sour yeast. Mildly sticky. Fills the mouth well. Worth brewing and drinking. cellar (261), Dublin, Ireland Jul 13, 2008 Clear amber, nice tiny long lasting head, weak notes of malt, toffee, some spices and fruit, flavour is sweet and short sweet finish, nice but indifferent. joshiez (35), USA Jul 12, 2008 Huge head! Woah!
the aroma has a malty caramel hint, which I really love in my beer. There is a reddish amber color, and the foamy head is off-white and really soapy. This has promise....the taste is best described...as clean. It is a bit sweet, not bitter in anyway....a little too much carbonation, but all in all...very nice. Good beer.... TheEmperor (8), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA does not count Jul 10, 2008 Less heavy than Guinness, but with that same bitter flavor and a long finish.
