slang (392), Columbia, South Carolina, USA Oct 15, 2009 bottled. A typical pale ale w/ fresh hop flavor & a quality dry hop linger. Exceeded expectations. Brought home from Gatlinburg. drowland (1360), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 14, 2009 I had this on tap at the brewpub in TN but didn’t take tasting notes beyond the numbers, unfortunately. I was there with my fiancee and she gets bored with my details. clingman71 (239), Centerville, Ohio, USA Jul 31, 2009 Deep golden color, aroma of sweet malt. I had pretty low expectations for this since their IPA is mediocre, at best. But this is an enjoyable refreshing beer. A good balance of hops and malt, just a good flavorful, balanced brew, nothing out of this world, but solid. jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA Jul 27, 2009 A pretty good pale ale, probably my favorite of their lineup. a bit watery at the end, is my only detraction. piney citrus and floral hops, nice. sebletitje (1880), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 24, 2009 Sample at Calhoun’s, Knoxville, TN.
pours golden, white head.
aroma is citrusy hops with barnyard/grassy elements.
Taste, hoppy, light spices, grainy with a faint malty and citrus finish. Soonah (900), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA Jun 7, 2009 From tronraner via trade. The pour was light copper with a one-finger tall white head and decent lacing. The aroma was malty, light citrus and stale hops. The flavor was light citrus over iced tea and earthy, pine hops. Super bitter and dry on the finish. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA May 23, 2009 Received a single 12-oz bottle via trade with lithy. Pours a clear golden light amber colored brew with a creamy off-whtie head that quickly dissipates to a bubbly top. Aroma of toasted golden grain malt, some grassy hops, and a touch of citrus zest. Taste is light to medium body, some carbonation with flavors of roasted golden grain malt, some dry hops character and a touch of citrus. Finish is semi-dry with a grassy hops and crisp aftertaste. f351c4v (404), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA May 21, 2009 On tap @ Turkey Creek. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Light hoppy aroma, fresh and crisp. Citrusy to start, medium body finishes with a sharp bitterness. Average.
