| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 15, 2009 Bottle. A timid pale ale compared to many other APAs I have had. It is more malty than hoppy with a slightly off-putting vegetal character. Still, an easy-drinking ale despite it being far from crisp and clean. Golden/yellow, slightly hazy body with a thin, off-white head. Light aroma of caramel and floral hops along with a hint of canned corn. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Very little bitterness in the finish, a finish that is lightly sweet. Light to medium body with a smooth mouthfeel and slightly tingly carbonation. The aftertaste has a bit of canned corn juice flavor. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
