Commercial Description:
A delicious brown ale with a deep chesnut color. Low hop rate and light carbonation make this brew a smooth and creamy number with a rich, malty-sweet finish. Look closely for the touch of roastedness in the background.

Bottle courtesy of Brentfeesh: Poured a dark brown color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention. Aroma of roasted caramel malt with a hint of sourness, which was not too pleasant. Taste of sweet caramel malt with some subtle hops. I think this beer had a small infection since I could pick-up some sourness, which shouldn’t be in this beer.

Draft... Clear, deep amber ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Malty aroma with fruity esters and biscuity notes. Well-balanced, malty flavor with toffee esters. Medium-bodied and creamy with mild carbonation. Water, lightly tangy finish.

Draft. Wasn’t crazy about this top-fermented brew. Smelled better than it tasted. But then I had just had the Tuck. Porter and my palate was hindered.

Draft. Poured brown with noticeable reddish amber on the edges. Aroma was pure caramel and maple. Flavor was creamy caramel with nuts. Very sweet finish as well.

On tap at the brewpub on the parkway. Poured an amber color with a small off white head. Tasted of roasted malt and not much more.

Nose is blueberry maple syrup. Flavor is simple caramel & tea, maybe a little honey. Cloyingly sweet.

via trade with decaturstevo - Pours a hazy amber color with no head. Very light carbonation. Has a sweet nutty, chocolate aroma and flavor. This beer is almost like candy. Very little hops. Medium body. This beer is a little off for the style, but still a decent tasting beer. Thanks Steve.

amber color with a tan head. Malty aroma. Just a hint of sweetness makes its way around the toasty malt flavor. okay beer.
