Commercial Description:
This rich, amber ale is smooth, mildly hopped and brewed with a special mixture of four different types of malted barley. It is full bodied and satisfying with a slight fruity note.

Poured amber with a little head. The aroma was on the malty side, notes of caramel. The flavor was mostly malty, very little hop profile and there were chocolatey and caramelly notes. There was a little graininess/huskiness to it. It’s a fairly decent beer, but nothing exciting. Drinkable.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Lithy. Pours a amber color with a minimal white head. Very spotty lace. Aroma is malty with a background of floral hops. Palate is average with low carbonation. Taste is quite malty and sweet with a hint of hops in the background. An ok brew, it doesn’t suck.

Bottle courtesy of lithy – thanks Justin! Pours clear medium amber with a 2 finger tan head that leaves spotty lacing. The nose is malt and light floral hops. The taste is caramel, toasted malt and earthy hops. Medium bodied – not great but drinkable.

Bottle: Dark copper color with a fizzy beige head. Dry aroma of florals, earthy, and rye. Tastes mostly sweet and malty up front with a lingering florals trailer. Not real cohesive.

Bottle: Pours a still copper with an off white film of head. Apparent diacetyl in the aroma with bird feed/bland grains (old pale malt) and a caramelized sweetness. Medium carbonation. A shallow caramel sweetness meshes with a grainy bird seed-like malt note. There’s some diacetyl here as well. Mildly hopped. Seems to be near the style, yet it’s underwhelming and quite buttery. Eh.

Butter’s 4th cellar reduction. Clear amber white head. Sweet cherry biscuit aroma and a cereal-like taste. Thin finish.

Golden red. Mild sweet hop aromas. Soft and round but small. Good but just a little tired. Couldn’t see myself having more than one.
