Commercial Description:
This rich, amber ale is smooth, mildly hopped and brewed with a special mixture of four different types of malted barley. It is full bodied and satisfying with a slight fruity note.

On draught at the brewpub. I would say this was a dark red color with a small head. A little to soft on the hops for me. Tasted a little watered down.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with Suttree (thanks!). Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, toasted malts, and light citrus. Tastes of pretty much the same. Thinner body.

On tap. A clear copper red. A little heavy on the sweet caramel flavor, without quite enough hops. A light to medium body has a little biscuit toast overtone. Finish is not quite crisp enough.

via trade with decaturstevo - Pours a clear copper color with a light head that faded quickly. Light carbonation. Very light lacing. Light sweet caramel malt aroma and flavor. Just enough hop bitterness for balance. Medium to full body. Nice beer. Thanks Steve.

Pours a light copper with an aroma of light malt. A semi sweet taste of toasted malt. A nice smooth palate that is just a bit on the weak side. A very pleasant beer. A little more hops in the end would make it a much better beer but with that said a good beer.

copper color with a thick white head. Citrus malt aroma. Fruity caramel flavor. Nothing overwhelming. Not bad.

Bottle take-out from the brewery. More of a light-brown than an amber pour, with initially a pretty decent head. Very light aroma, mainly citrus. Average ale taste. Rather malty and sweet, but I’d have to knock the finish as being a bit on the sour side.

Pretty decent ale. Not spectacular, but not entirely uninteresting. A good standard ale.
