Commercial Description:
This rich, amber ale is smooth, mildly hopped and brewed with a special mixture of four different types of malted barley. It is full bodied and satisfying with a slight fruity note.

On tap at the brewery/restaurant in Gatlinburg. "Amber", malty ale with a lightly hopped finish. Kinda has the cheap corn syrup/bitter wheaties taste that makes me reject beers like Killian’s Red. This is a step above that one though, even if it’s a bit on the average side. A bit carmel-tasting.

A pleasant aroma that promises barley goodness that it then fails to really deliver on. Looking at it sitting in the glass I expected much, but ultimately it tasted primarly of spring water. Wet and cold, it’s useful for washing down a burger, but not much else.

Draught at brewpub. Clear gold in color. The aroma is clean and crisp. Smooth, satisfying body with balanced sweetness, but not much finish.

on draught. Light amber hue with a tiny, light head. The smell is of hops balanced with a slight fruit boquet. The flavor is similar to the aroma with that basic sweetnessof a fruit. It’s just not flavorful enough, but an overall satisfactory experience. The finish was pleasantly sweet.

On tap at Knoxville, TN. Light amber color with small white head. Simple flavors of malty caramel. I can see the arguments for being too sweet, but I liked it, especially to complement a barbecue dinner. Low carbonation brings out flavors even more.

Pours an amber brown color, small white head. Aroma is sweet, and malty. Flavor is very malty, very sweet, not much complexity.

On tap at the brewery in Gatlinburg TN - Pours amber with a decent offwhite head. Aroma is of light citrus and caramel malts. Flavor was much the same. On the palate this is medium bodied and crisp and clean slightly bitter on the finish. This wasn’t bad but again nothing spectacular.

Tap. Fruit hop and caramel malt aroma. Pours bronze with red hues and large white head and good creamy lacing. Mild hop and caramel malt flavor. Medium bodied and clean palate.
