hopdog (4525), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 29, 2006 12oz bottle acquired in trade with Suttree (thanks!). Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, toasted malts, and light citrus. Tastes of pretty much the same. Thinner body. hopscotch (4433), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Oct 8, 2006 Draft... Clear golden ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. Earthy, musty nose with a note of toffee. Tangy flavor. Light to medium-bodied with soft carbonation. Watery, tangy finish. jcwattsrugger (3793), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 8, 2008 on tap-pours a white head and amber color. Aroma is citrus hops, medium malt. Taste is pine/citrus hops, medium malt-honey/Crystal?/sweet caramel, peat/roasty. Mild carbonation. ClarkVV (3547), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Feb 16, 2005 On draught Feb 2005 at Calhoun’s (not the Bearden hill location, but the one right on the river). Hmm, this looks overated. It does have a good auburn-brown color, but the head quickly fizzles and it is terribly clear and kind of looks like it was water with food coloring splashed in. Smells of cheap sour-like yeast, cheap sticky sweet syrupy corn and cheap malt. No hops. The aroma can at least be smelled, but it sure isnt very pleasant. Gross corn syrup flavor, just foul tasting. Watery at the end. I was only able to drink half of my pint over the whole course of dinner. Barf.
