belgianhomebrew (646), Acworth, Georgia, USA Mar 16, 2002 Draft - Slight hop aroma, with a nice balanced bitterness. Caramel in the flavor. Slight roastiness with a dry finish. A good amber ale. brewbandit (312), Marietta, Georgia, USA Mar 17, 2002 Nice light fruity & caramel aroma. Light lacy head. Color slight ly lighter than expected. Flavor is lightly fruity, faint caramelness with a hint of chocolate malt. Overall a good beer to enjoy. Slick (1956), Minnesota, USA Mar 13, 2004 Nice amber color, small off white head that had a decent hang time and managed to leave a decent lace behind. The aroma was malty and lightly citrus, with a mild hop presence.I like this brew, malty flavor with a nice citrus taste and just a bit of a tangy sensation coming from it as well. The hops are nicely done with just enough to make it interesting.A very nice and very drinkable brew that would go nicely on a hot summer day. Thanks Suttree for sending this one my way. crizay (1070), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA Jul 22, 2007 Pours a clear copper red, barely a head at all that goes to nothing and stays that way. Aroma is biscuit malts. Flavor is biscuit malts bigtime, some caramel sweetness in the background and really is the perfect amount. Noble hops to add to the crispness of this beer. Biscuit malt aftertaste with some lingering sweetness, god I love the flavor of that malt, the toasty taste to it is so freakin drinkable that I had to slam the only bottle I had of this. Really for it’s style it’s good. Aurelius (2469), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jun 3, 2002 Olivine, caramel nose. Menacing, intense copper red. Flavor is fruity and tart. Perhaps a wee bit figgy, but on the whole put me in the mind of SweetTarts. Definite acidic twang on the sides of the tongue in the finish.
