Hudspart (298), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA Apr 28, 2008 On tap at the brewery: Not bad. Pours amber with a small head. Flavor of hops and mild malt. Drinkable.
phishpond417 (1231), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jul 26, 2008 Pours a semi-clear brownish amber colour with no head. Prevalent caramel flavors, brown sugar, and nutty flava. Slightly bready and off dry roasted malt character. Finishes pretty smooth. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 8, 2008 on tap-pours a white head and amber color. Aroma is citrus hops, medium malt. Taste is pine/citrus hops, medium malt-honey/Crystal?/sweet caramel, peat/roasty. Mild carbonation. ilherps (49), USA Apr 28, 2008 From a 12 oz bottle from the brewery. It has a malty nose and noticeable hops and a little grain in the taste. It poured with almost no head at all. I like this one, but not as much as the pale ale or IPA from Smoky mountain. DKTN (89), Mc Donald, Tennessee, USA Apr 27, 2008 Bottle, 12 oz. Amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma of hops and some malt; flavor of same, including breadiness. Enjoyed this with some barbeque, and the pairing was perfect. My favorite beer from this brewery so far.
