Commercial Description:
Brewed in the classic Bohemian Pilsner style. The renowned Saaz hops of the Czech Republic allow this honey colored lager to be well hopped while maintaining an elegant balance.

[Bottle] shared by skyview. Pours a clear light gold with a small soapy head. Aroma is inoffensive, with some light malt and hops. Flavor is major corn chips. I don’t believe that traditional bohemian pilseners have a whole lot of adjuncts in them.

SourFest II. Courtesy of Skyview. Gold color with no head. Light corn aroma. Corny and grainy taste. Cleanly fermented. Not too shabby. One more state down!

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle via trade with lithy. Pours a clear golden brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, some corn grits and grassy hops. Taste is light bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, corn grits, some grassy hops and a hint of white soda crackers. Finish is a little gritty with a grassy hop and corn aftertaste.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Lithy. Pours a gold color with a 1/4" white had and spots of lace. Nose is grainy with a hint of malt. Thin, crisp palate. Flavor was all grains, grass and mild floral hops. Slightly bitter finish. This would be refreshing on a warm summer day.

Bottle: Deep golden color with a thin white head. Nose is thick with biscuity and malty tones. A touch of grass. Sweet up front with a drier, breadier and floral tail. Crisp overall sensation. Not bad. Thanks Lithy.

Bottle courtesy of lithy – thanks Justin! Pours clear gold with a one finger snow white head that results in decent lacing. The nose is corn, grain and light grassy hops. The taste is pretty much the same with a touch of pilsneresque hops in the finish. Medium bodied. Nothing special, but not bad and an easy drinker.

Above average for a pilsner, poured golden with a two finger head. I did not find the aroma to be anything special, slightly hoppy. I did think the flavor was fairly complex for the style with some chocolatey, roasty notes in there, maybe a bit overboard with the maltiness and slightly outside style lines. Overall hop profile is fairly weak with a little bitterness popping in there but not much...a little grassiness, earthiness from the hops. Overall, not bad...would make a decent session lager.
