Bottled, thanks SpringsLicker! Near black. Sweret and very chocolatey, but also somewhat fatty. Medium bodied with dusty finish.

12oz bottles acquired in trades with Sutree and SpringsLicker (thanks!). Poured a dark black with an averaged sized off white head. So far so good. Major buttered popcord aroma and not much else. Tastes of lesser butter with some chocolate and roasted malts. I thought it was a bad bottle so I opened up my 2nd bottle right away. Less butter in the aroma but it was still there. 2 separate bottles from different people and almost the same. Yuck.

Bottle... Sparkling clear, very dark, ruby ale. Small, creamy, well-tanned head. The aroma is of hazelnut and vanilla coffee beans with a splash of chocolate. Well-balanced chocolate flavor. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Lengthy, chocolate and coffee, dry finish. Very nice beer. Thanks to springslicker for the bottle!

Pours a barely transparent dark mahogany with a thin, wispy lacing tan head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty pale dark caramel malt and some smoky dark fruits. Body starts lightly sweet and dark caramely with some earthy bittering hops and dark chocolate before a smooth, somewhat thin bittersweet finish. A decent smoky porter.

12oz bottle-pours a disappearing tan head and dark mahogany color. Aroma is dark malt-chocolate/roasty. Taste is sweet dark malt-chocolate/roasty/ peat/molasses, secondary earthy hops. OK carbonation. Hint of vinegar. Full body. Nice. Thanks decaturstevo for sharing.
