I have only had this one directly from the tap at the brewery, so maybe that is why I like it so much! Nice rich dark color and a coffee aroma as well as taste, with hints of chocolate. Nice burntish qualities and very mellow. Lingering notes of vanilla in the finish.

Bottle courtesy of tronraner. I dig the label on this one. Pours dark brown with a thin white head. Smells of roasted malt, caramel, touches of sugar and chocolate. Tastes of ligfht chocolate, pepper, molasses, some nice roasty touches on the finish. Very enjoyable!

This was my favorite out of all the GSMB beers that I tried this week. It pours very dark. I definitely tasted a bit of roasted flavor, along with chocolate and coffee. Not the best porter ever, but very good none the less.

Fresh bottle from brewery. Pour shows dark color white big bubbled head that quickly turns into a ring. Aroma of well roasted grains.Aroma is similar to Stone imp. but not as bold.(compliment).Taste is very roasty and cofeeish.Slight bitterness.Tasty as it is though it lost it’s flavor after a while. Well worth a try.If FRESH.

Bottle courtesy of Brentfeesh: Poured a nice dark porter with a small foamy head with average retention. Aroma of smoke and peat in quite intense and surprising as I wasn’t expecting this. Taste is a mix between some subtle smoky malts with some sweet lightly roasted malt. Body is a bit light for the style. I almost wondered if I tasted the same beers as the other folk because I didn’t get any sourness.

Good roasty aroma with a light head. Clear rich color. Flavors of roasted malts abound with a light malty finish. Body may be just a bit thin. A good beer.

I had this one straight off tap and at the brewery, so maybe that is why I found it so tasty! Nice rich dark color and a coffee aroma as well as taste, with hints of chocolate. Nice burntish qualities and very mellow. I enjoyed this porter very much!
