Commercial Description:
Continental style lager enjoyed throughout Europe. Visions of the Liter Stein-laden "Bier Fraus" bespeak the drinkability of this smoothest and most quaffable of lager beers. Less hoppy than Pilsner and very drinkable. Deep straw color. Balanced with Bavarian hops. Aged a full 6 weeks at 32°F.

Bottle from Secret Santa: Golden pour with perfect clarity and nearly no head. Malt dominated aroma- light bready sweetness, mild fresh pale malts, perhaps a touch of vegetal. Thin bodied- mild carbonation. Some soft sweetness comes through from fresh German pale malt presence. A touch of graininess comes through without much bitterness, overall. No huge flaws, just very boring and lacking depth.

Slightly hazy dark orange yellow pour with a thin whitish carbonation that sizzles away quickly. Toasty grainy malt aroma is thin and dry. Taste is more grain husks, light caramel and toffee malt sweetness with a tannic and hop bitter finish.

Bottle thanks to Joe. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. An aroma of dry leaves, yeast, some hops and bread. Nice. The taste is smooth and easygoing, some bready and yeast filled flavors, also a bit of zesty citrus and spices. A highly carbonated body. Not bad at all. This would be great with some sausages and mustard. Nice.

12oz bottle from lithy, thank you Justin. Golden pour, nice white full head. Strange aroma, a little peppery, maybe a little vinegar? Very drinkable brew, smooth with a good malty backbone, no bitterness whatsoever.

On tap at the Gatlinburg brewery. Poured a clear yellow color with a small white head. Aroma of bread and yeast. Flavor was bland and watery.

Sample draft from Brewgrass. Golden pour with white head. Wheaty and grainy. Not much to it, but not overly sweet or thin. Thoroughly okay and drinkable if not remarkable.

Rerate. Pretty much the same notes. Thanks xnoxhatex for sharing this one. The body was dark gold with a white head. I smelled fresh bread, pears and peanuts. The taste was light construction paper with some earthy hints. There was also some peanut character, especially in the finish. I like, but don’t love it.

12oz bottle from trade. Clear light yellow with small creamy white head. A little light corny, dry malt. A light noble hop flavor with dry malt corn. Medium body with a little carbonation. Perfect to style, but not all that good at the same time.
