blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 8, 2009 bottle, dark brown with a tall khaki foam, lost of chocolate, roast coffee and dark fruit in the aroma, fruity flavor with a lingering chocolate and bitter cocoa finish douglas88 (1556), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Aug 7, 2009 22oz bottle thanks big time to Cletus, 2008 vintage. Pours a very dark hue with a medium creamy brown head. The instant I open this beer a aroma wafts out that instantly tells me I am in for a awesome drink. The aroma is rich roasted malts, dark fruits and cocoa- not an overwhelming nose. The flavor was excellent; instantly I get my fix for my favorite flavor; loads of rich oily dark fruits. Very nice. There is tons of toasted cocoa and light coffee as well. Silky and fruity at first, as it warmed the burnt flavors of cocoa were more prevalent. Overall, top notch. A gem. ksurkin (354), Norfolk, Virginia, USA Aug 2, 2009 bomber from grape & gourmet. pours a oily, deep, dark brown with a thin, dark tan head and great lacing. aroma is excellent with big, dark, roasted malts, vinous fruits, black cherry, a touch of dark chocolate and coffee and a hint of boozy, spiced rum. flavor is fantastic with huge, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, and ripe red fruits with hints of spiced raisin and toasted nuts. palate is full bodied and silky with a light, boozy warmth and a long, bittersweet finish. overall, and excellent porter. sebletitje (1880), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 1, 2009 couresty of gillard @ brasstap.

A solid baltic porter. (Rating #2539) Skeegle (476), Maryland, USA Jul 30, 2009 Wooowww. Finally I have this gem in my hands! Hey, for five bucks you can’t beat this. 22 bomber for five bucks. The roasted flavors are those of nuts, chocolate, dark candied fruits, a smoke swig of nuttiness, and lots of roasted toffee/coffee/wheat/malted barley flavors. Perfect porter here. Just fantastic, and worth the wait!! markwise (1132), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA Jul 29, 2009 Thanks kiefdog for the share. Pours a mean-looking black with a large foamy tan head.
