Jul 28, 2009 Bomber from Jans Wine and Boos #2 (Tampa, FL). Pours a dark brown to black with massive one finger tan foamy head that settles slowly. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of chocolate, caramel, rum-soaked raisins, some hints of honey and coffee. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of chocolate, ripe dark fruit, molasses, raisins, hints of honey and grain. Generally medium body with a malty and spicy finish.

Mar 11, 2008 Bottle. Poured a nice black body with thin head. Aroma of chocolate, light hops and coffee. Flavor is chocolate, lightly bitter, pineapple, light hoppiness to it and some plums. Smooth, rich and a nice mouthfeel. This is well done.

Jul 10, 2008 Bomber courtesy of hellbilly. Pours a crude oil black with 2 finger brown head but not much lacing. Nose is roasted coffee, chocolate and burnt malt. Taste is mild coffee, some dark fruits, chocolate and toasted grains with a slightly bitter dry finish. Full, creamy mouth feel. Very warming. This stuff is fantastic – thanks Joshua!

Aug 23, 2009 Bottle with thanks to coyotehunter. Pours a dark brown with little head. Aromas? well, there’s a bit of dark malt, with some grapefruit or something hoppy, bananas and Hubba Bubba. Flavor is cola-like, with a very fizzy texture has a bit of cloves, some vanilla and a little wood.

a viscous pour leads to an opaque nearly black shade of brown. it’s topped by a foam like marshmallow-y cocoa colored head that paints the glass as it retreats. aroma is faintly of coffee with a bunch of chocolate, black raisins and some ashy char. the palate is not even in the realm of sweet as far as baltics go... huge bonus. the flavor is rather port/ juicy red wine like with more black raisins and chocolate along with wood, roasty grain and a dry bittered finish. coffee pops up in the aftertaste. this leans on full bodied. very creamy texture and chewy mouth feel. simplistic and well crafted...

Sep 6, 2009 Bottle. Black pour with a moderately thick dark tan head. Nice aroma of mild powdered cocoa, slight chocolate. Nice mouthfeel. The taste is quite chocolately and is more intense than the aroma would let on. A very rich, very well put together baltic, I’m going to try and stock up on these.

Nov 2, 2008 Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a deep dark brown, faint red hues, tan/copper head. Aroma of rich dark roast & Alcohol. Flavor is very nice dark roast, caramel, some chocolate, alcohol. Mouthfeel is full bodies, medium-heavy, smooth, low-med. carbonation....Good stuff!

Apr 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark black with a beautiful dark tan head that persists until the very end of the glass. Aroma of coffee and roast. Flavor of coffee, roast, chocolate, slight raisin as the beer warms. This is a thick, rich beer, very reminiscent of an imperial stout. Very creamy. Excellent.
