Dark black pour with a big head and lacing. In addition to the up front chocolate and espresso flavors there is also a spicy licorice thing going on underneath. Creamy mouthfeel with roasty flavors along w/ dark fruit, this is quite tasty. All in all, I think that this is very well done. Holdwine (909), Beertimore, Maryland, USA

Burnt motor oil pour with immmediate chocolate and coffee notes boomy out above a tastey thick beige head. Cocolate and slight fruit taste with a warm and wonderful mouthfeel. Yes, there is alcohol (might be only drawback on a warm spring day), but it suits the malt quite well. heemer77 (4312), Savannah, Missouri, USA

The aroma was chocolate chip pancakes with some massive malt. A little bit of rasins also come into play. The taste was chocolate and malt with some roasted nuts. This had a nice and thick body. Definitely a sipper, but solidly made. jb (1063), Rochester, New York, USA

Black, thick dark brown head. Nice lacing too. Aroma is oaky, along with big bag of dried fruit, some mochachino. The palate is light at 1st, then it warmed and tasted a bit boozy, rich, oily, roasted malt present, nice. Very true to the style and enjoyable. egajdzis (3645), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
