Jul 25, 2009 22 oz bomber. Poured a dark brownish/black body with a sticky beige head. Aroma of pudding skins, espresso, roastiness, chocolate. Flavor is similar to the aroma with chocolate and roastinesss being upfront. Palate is medium bodied with an average carbonation. Good stuff all around, solid.

Jun 12, 2008 Bomber. Pours thick and black with a smallish dark brown head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, dates, and sweet roasted malt. Flavor is of roasted malt, with hints of cocoa, mocha, bitter espresso, alcohol, and some piney hops to round out the finish. Leaves a tart/tangy feeling along the sides of the tongue. Thick and creamy, very smooth, and delicious.

Nov 1, 2008 2008 bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a thick black with a large fluffy brown head that leaves good lacing. Aroma has some nice roast and caramel malts with a touch of cinnamon and dark fruits. Taste is mocha coffee with caramel malts, and some chocolate truffles and soot. Darn good. Creamy mouthfeel with light carbonation and a bit of alcohol.

Sep 12, 2009 bottle, pours black, medium tan head. Aroma is sour peach, black patent malt, and a roasty coffee. Lots of chocolate, wow. I love the roastyness. Nice.

Jul 29, 2009 Thanks kiefdog for the share. Pours a mean-looking black with a large foamy tan head. Nose is roast, dark fruit, spice, dark chocolate, slight boozy raisins, and some alcohol burn. Flavor is mellow baltic porter, lots of great roast and fruit. Flavor finishes with slightly dry roast. Medium to full-bodied and lovable.

Sep 28, 2009 Bottle from Cletus, Thanks John! Pours a dark brown with a nice tan head. Aroma of dusty cocoa, plum, dates. Flavor is coffee, dark fruit, rum cake, dark chocolate, and some smoke. A nice sticky mouthfeel with a dry finish. Great beer.

Aug 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours close to black with a big tan head. The aroma has dark fruits, dark chocolate, coffee, raisins, and a creamy sweetness. The flavor has roasted malts, dark fruits, a light espresso like sweetness and lighter notes of molasses and dark chocolate. Very good.

Apr 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark black with a beautiful dark tan head that persists until the very end of the glass. Aroma of coffee and roast. Flavor of coffee, roast, chocolate, slight raisin as the beer warms. This is a thick, rich beer, very reminiscent of an imperial stout. Very creamy. Excellent.
