| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Oct 16, 2006 As most people know, I’m very partial to the IPA’s. This one is no different. Probably my favorite to date. I like my IPA’s to have a citrus finish of which this one definitley has. And it also has the ABV. to get me where I’m going. I would compare this very closely to STONE IPA which is one of my gold standards. I believe this one edges the stone out just a hair because of the higher alcohol and a little bit stronger hoppiness. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 16, 2006 Whole Foods, Alexandria, Va. - 22 oz bomber. Murky orange pour with a creamy white head that leaves sticky lacing. Very fresh sprucey aroma with some fresh citus notes. Flavor has the requisite grapefruity notes, but it is somewhat polished and refined for the east coast. Pick up hints of nectarines, mint and some back end nuittiness. Very thick mouthfeel, creamy. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 15, 2006 Bottled. Hazy amber coloured with almost no head. Both hoppy and malty - kinda sweet and alcoholic. Fruity and spicy. nhorween (640), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 13, 2006 Bottle. Honey colored, slightly hazy, with a thin white head. Huge citrus in comparison to hops in the aroma. Floral notes, sweet and resiny, light malts. I agree with ungstrup, peaches in the flavor for sure, summery fruitiness. Hops, sticky sweetness, grapefruit, grassy. Really nice bitter finish, slightly dry, sweet. Mouthfeel is a bit thick, alcohol is apparent. I liked this beer a lot, for me, it falls somewhere between and east and a west coast IPA, which is interesting. This beer is nice for sure, but not for everyone. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 12, 2006 An unclear red-orange beer with a lazing orange head. The aroma is light malty and light hoppy. THe flavor is sweet malty with notes of oranges and peaches, and a slight hoppy bite, leading to a very bitter and dry finish. The alcohol burns the mouth slightly. Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours a bright, thick golden color that is lightly headed. Nose is grapefruit and some pine. Flavor is malty sweet upfront but takes you down the hop road until you crash into a wall of hops. I prefer not such a large crescendo and like it when the malts stand a chance. However, all in all this was a pretty good 2IPA. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark
