Commercial Description:
For our hopping regime we went with Cascade and Nuggets in the boiling addition. Centennials were added every 5 minutes for the last 30 minutes of the boil. We added Crystals into the whirlpool. Dry hopping was done in both the fermentor after primary fermentation and the bright tank. We used a mixture of Chinook, Nuggets, and Sterlings in the fermentors and whole leaf Centennials in the bright tank.

Golden color. Smell of hops, malt, hops, citrus and hops. Taste of citrus , malt pine, nuts, some wood and tons of hops. Wow! This is a nice IPA. Very nice bitterness at the end. Very enjoyable IPA.

2006 bomber. Really enjoyed this gem. Pours a slightly hazy copper-orange hue under a dense and tight white head. Intense luscious aromas of crushed fresh pine needles, along with grapefruit and orange rind. Palate is extremely silky smooth with a fine carbonation. Flavor much like the aroma; lots of fresh pine and citrus abound, supported by a nice balance of background caramelly malt sweetness and warming alcohol. Finishes with a long, crisp hoppy bitterness. A lot to enjoy here for an IPA-lover/hop head. Gotta give this one a try!

Thanks to Santa for this 22 oz bottle - Poured a copper color with a nice tight head that left great lacing after it left. Aroma is a little on the piney side, with a lot of alcohol in the initial inhale. Flavor has a fusel tinge that dims as it warms. Malty with nice bitterness that really comes together for a nice finish.

On tap at Landmark 1850 Inn. Poured a deep hazy amber with a creamy white head. Huge pine and rich, alcohol-fueled citrus push up front... with an odd vegetal undertow that detracts a little. In the flavor department, this forms a much-needed bitter assault on the palate... sporting pine needles and freshly-squeezed grapefruit. Rich, sweet caramel malts provide a sufficient base. Very good stuff!

22 oz. Bottle. Aroma was like walking though a wooded pine forest. Copper colored body with good head and good lacing. Flavor has a good citrus syrupy feel to it. Some dryness on the palate. Refreshing brew after a friday night fish fry in Wisconsin.

Draught, from the Barley Pub in Dover, NH. Copper color, medium off-white head. Very strong hop aroma, citrus/grapefruit, and a little bit of malt. Flavor is very hoppy--nice hop blend, and a good malt balance,. Very dry finish with alcohol in aftertaste. Great beer.

2006. Bomber. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a small off white head, lots of lacing around the glass. Aroma is great on this beer and is of mostly pine and bitter orange/grapefruit. Taste is very citrusy, with a strong pine bitterness, tastes of sweet malt, orange, earth, with a slightly tart and bitter citrus finish. pretty complex, great beer!
