Dickinsonbeer (2550), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Feb 23, 2008 EBF. Pours a deep dark woody brown with ruby highlights- and a diminishing head. Aroma is woody, cherry vanilla cola, cyanide- black cherry wood and some toasted malts and nutty chocolate. Earthy flavor with some drying woodiness, phenolic and some vanilla- sharp dark chocolate and some roasted burnt malts. Finish is a bit astringent from the wood.
