Otherwise the aroma is spicy with some sweet fruit, like orange, or banana. Body is pretty sticky. Something bitter, salty in the taste. I don’t know if I see as much fruit as others have said, but its defitenely fruity. Not as much carb as other belgians. Nice smooth, a bit bready and yeasty too. Overall its pretty good saison for the few that I’ve had so far. McGarnigle (316), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Sep 6, 2008 Bomber, bottle conditioned in 2008. Copper/orange color, nice head. Tastes primarily fruity -- apricots and peaches -- and secondarily spicy. Slight funkiness to it as well. Wonderful soft carbonation, and though not heavy bodied, had a ribcage filling effect. Possibly a tad too fruity, but still very good. blipp (1705), Newark, New Jersey, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours cloudy orange-copper, with a 1 finger fluffy off-white head. Aroma is peppery clove, citrus and apricot, with an earthy, barnyard quality and a hint of herbal hops. Taste is complex - sour apple, sweet grainy malt and tropical fruit, with a light wet hay and barnyard funk on the finish. It’s that signature farmhouse complexity, blended so well together that it’s hard to pull any one flavor out. Medium body with a light but crisp carbonation. Really nice beer. Aroma -Inviting fruity aroma of peaches and apricots, giving way to some earthiness and finally a hint of peppery spice
Appearance - Pours a foggy orange with a fluffy white head that settles to a small layer that persists to the last swallow. Lace is spotty and slippery.
Flavor - Fruity sweetness hits early, a twinge of sourness follows, and finally a tangy and palate drying bitterness presents itself.
Palate - Medium body and carbonation, satisfying and palate coating mouthfeel
Overall- This a very nice saison, full of flavor, well balanced, and very refreshing.
