| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 8, 2006 First of all, I don’t really see this as a Saison but I found it rather enjoyable. Aroma is somewhat malty with lots pear and banana scents. Large creamy white head with good lacing on top of an orange body. Heavy malty flavors from start to finish with lots of sweet banana flavors. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Light alcohol in the finish. Seems to be lacking some of the earthy funkiness of a lot of Saisons. jon112981 (327), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA

Pours a medium, white creamy head with a lightly carbonated, orange body. Nose is mildly biscuity with overtones of yeast and fruit. Decent flavour - somewhat barnyard and wet wheat mixed with watery raspberry seeds. Good recipe and a fine beer.
