Cask at GBBF. Cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of banana, yeast and grass. Dryish malty flavour with strong yeast notes, and some pine and grassy. Room for improvement

Hazy orange pour with thick white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, pepper. Flavor is mild citrus and a bit dry, some bread notes. Some earth notes too. Nothing too fancy, but a pretty tasty saison. The yeast is surprisingly good for an american Saison. Pillowy mouthfeel, nice carbonation, and finishes kind of spicy.

nice effort at the style, just a little harsh, somw woody and resinous notes, of course sweet with dried fruit flavors, carbonation a little high. cloudy but the yeast provides mostle a nice lemon taste.

Hazy blond color. Light aroma, very light apples. Sweetish and fruity malt flavor, and very subdued spices; it’s not bad, but it seems they picked up the wrong yeast to let it be a real Farmhouse. Pleasant but easy.

A delicious saison. It’s obviously an American attempt at the style, but still very good. Aroma was nice. Strong apricot and peach. Pour was a beautiful medium orange with a huge 4 finger white head with big bubbles. Taste was like fruit cocktail...strong fruity flavor with a yeasty bite. Strong carbonation. Very wet aftertaste unlike a true saison (in my opinion) which should be dry. Good nonetheless.

The aroma is a bit funky with spice, citrus, yeast, malt, and cabbage. The appearance is deep gold with a large head. The flavor is somewhat like the aroma elements but it does not have much funk which I was happy to find out. The palate is smooth. Overall a very good beer.

22oz bottle. Vintage 2009. Hazy golden pour. Tall, thick and creamy, mountainous head of foam. Lots of perfect spherical bubbles rising to the surface. Beautiful carbonation. Aroma of fruity yeast and bread. Flavor is of a dry malt, lots of yeasy flavors. A bit of citrus and some banana. Citrus zest and tropical fruit, very complex fruitiness all on top of a vell malted body.. An excellent American take on a unique style of beer. I really liked this one.

Cask @ GBBF 2009. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy yeasty aroma. Sweetish fruity yeasty spicy flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a sweetish yeasty spicy finish.
