Aug 19, 2007 Bottle: Hazy amber with a large fluffy beige head. Thick lacing. Nose is faint, but of malts and sour fruitiness. Tastes like second rate pie cherries and some cheap lager. Boy this was awful.

Aug 18, 2007 Honey, with a red look to it...thin body with a pale tan head....aroma is of cherries that are past the expiration date...one friend says, "it smells like his granddad"...ok then...thin body with the same bad cherry taste that I smell...its tart but not sweet...Hanami poo poo...Hanami means in the Japanese culture to enjoy the cherry blossoms, well I wish that is what was happening

Aug 17, 2007 Maybe my least favorite from Smutty, which is not my favorite to start with. Reddish amber, cloudy, head vanishes immediately leaving spotty pond scum. Nose of malt and sour cherries ... moderately interesting. Taste of malt and sour cherries ... also moderately interesting. No complexity or depth. Drain pour.

Aug 16, 2007 Bottle, best buy 8/07 bought at State Line Liquors on my way back from BCTC this year. pours a coca-cola infused amber. Off-white head with lacing the lasts throughout. Tart black cherry juice, malt, some spices. Mouthfeel is lighter than expected and leaves a little to be desired, but I actually enjoy this beer. Very smooth, no alcohol noted. Aromas and flavors are subtle in this one. Underrated.

Aug 12, 2007 Contrary to some, I liked this beer. Had a couple yesterday, a hot day, and found them quite refreshing.
Cherry was understated and appropriate. The bottles were a bit past their "best by" dating, so maybe it ages well.

Aug 6, 2007 Aroma of light maltiness and some cherry. Flavor was cherry juice and a little beer. Pretty weaak overall and not that good.

Aug 6, 2007 Bottle Hazy brown pour with white head. Aroma has a very light cherry hint and a bit of hops and fruit. Flavor is tart and has a lot more cherry in it. Sweet and sour aftertaste. Kinda weird. Flavor is better than the aroma.
