| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 19, 2007 Pristine copper with a slight rose tea hint. A creamy tan head is broken up by ice. Aroma tells of pencil shavings, rhubarb, almond amaretto jam, guava, raspberry seeds and sap all balled into an amber ale aroma. Flavor produces a clean strawberry cotton flavor. Sweet raspberry kernels give a tart edge to the keeling amber ale. Some tin can traits collide with lime juice breaking up a cherry toffee soire. Flavor is represented, but the young red fruit excretions are just too imbalanced. Harsh bitterness causes further digression. Green garden bite and herbaceous floralness wind down the flavor to a biting, cotton characteristic in the end. emerica56 (587), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 16, 2007 This beer pours no head at all and has a nice redish tint to it. There is not much of a aroma to it but the flavor is so intence. There is a very potent taste of tart cherrys and sour fruits. The best part is the lingering of that tart taste that sits on the back of your throat for a while. Drink4Satan (586), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 16, 2007 pours an amber with a rosey-pink hue and a medium-sized off white, sudsy head. The nose is light fruit and slightly vinous. The aroma was weaker than expected. The flavour like that of a wheat beer with tart cherries and sour apples. The mouthfeel is slick and syupy with soft carbonation. This is very drinkable except for the acidic, tangy tingle it leaves in the back of the mouth when sipped on too heavily. The lacing is superb, but not three dimentional like some abbeys have. The cherry flavour really lingers for some time. Different and refreshing. sloth (1687), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 16, 2007 Large offwhite head with a light pink hue. Retention is decent and the lace is coating and plentiful. Clear amber color with a light red glow. Nose is spicey, cherries, raspberrys, some sulphur, lightly fruity. Body is light, a little CO2 bite also. Lightly tart cherry flavors and more berry notes, tangy spicey flavors. Faint malts in the background. Finish is dry, lightly tart, fruity and spicey. Something different from the Smuttys. kwoeltje (1333), Manchester, Missouri, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Bottle. Aroma of berries and dry lager. The flavor is pretty much the same, a little bit sour. There is a lot of flavor, but just not flavor that I really like. alexanderj (2286), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Poured an orange copper; medium head. Aroma was sort of artificial like; had some fruitiness. Didnt like it too much. Flavor is pretty thin; has some decent cherry flavor. Some tartness; bland to me, despite the tartness. Not very good, don’t see me drinking this again. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Dr Pepper ruby pour. Initial reaction almost medicinal. After a few sips, it starts to come around with some decent tartness from the cherries. Not cloying, but missing a wow factor.
