There is not much going on the aroma - it is slightly sour and dry, ashy. The flavor is incredibly sour - I expected this to be closer to a lambic than a fruit beer. It is not well-balanced at all. There is no sweetness at all to balance the tartness. I don’t really detect the specific fruits at all. I don’t think I’ll drink the rest of the bottle, but it is not awful, just not quite enjoyable for me tonight. carl4beer (400), Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Cherry juice colored, thin off white creamy head. Nose held soft notes of buttered cherry toast and caramel. Hints of a vanilla base are present. Straight forward flavors of dried tart cherries that ends in a slight herbal bitterness, Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry finish. Interesting experiment that started to grow on me by the end... Cletus (5055), Connecticut, USA
