| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 22, 2009 As fruit beers go, one of the better ones. Tart and fruity without any medicinal or chemical odor or flavors. Good balance overall and refreshing. craftbeerdesign (766), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 19, 2009 bottle. pours a deep red with a quarter inch white head. nice cherry aroma with a touch of sweet malt. medium body with tart cherries... it is not overpowering at all and is not too sweet... that was a concern going into this one... but the tartness really shines through. I really enjoyed this and am surprised by the low rating.... nimbleprop (950), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 19, 2009 Sampled at Max’s American Beer Fest. Pours a translucent ruby red with a cloudy white head. Fruity aroma, slightly musty. Flavor is sour with cherries, tart fruits, not so much citrus. Sour finish. Nice for what it is but also one dimensional. elihapa (1070), Honolulu, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 19, 2009 Bottle for $2.00 in CT. Pours amber-brown with an off-white head. Aroma is slightly spicy, with soft buttery fruit sweetness. Flavor starts sweet with estery notes, followed quickly by a slightly puckering cherry flavor. Palate is light, with a refreshing dryness in the finish. Hmm, I’m kind of liking this. In its own understated way, I like the way that the cherry moves forward with sour-sweetness, alongside spices and malt. Good brew. Beerlando (2353), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 17, 2009 Pours a hazy pinkish red color with a small, foamy, off-white head. Minimal, soapy, spotty lacing marks the glass. The nose is mostly sweet, artificial cherry syrup dominating all else, with perhaps a bit of perfumy, floral character. Flavors show the same, overly sweet, forced, and "fake" feeling. Cherry juice, vanilla, and flowers drown things out. The palate is thin, sugary, and sweet, with just a hint of sour twang on the finish. Not my kind of beer by any means. jkaiser (227), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | May 17, 2009 This was one of the many beers I tried at Beerfest. I remember little, but this was one of the okay ones. I definitly remember the distinct cherry component of this offering. jjuf1853 (482), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 14, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear, reddish amber color with an off-white head. Slightly sweet cherry and malt aroma. I’m not a big fan of most fruit beers because they are typically too sweet, but this one is surprisingly more tart than sweet which is good.
