Strong cherry flavour, sweet and sour. Glowing red color.
I don’t really know what to make of this. A little yeasty palate, too. No, it does not succeed as a beer. tzakiel (49), Virginia, USA

Aroma is malty and some fruit. I think I can smell cherries, but I dont know if I would have known if blind folded. Taste is a bit tart and certainly has some neat cherry flavor. I dont think this is world class, but it is better than it has been rated. Certainly a fun beer to try. shadey (1500), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 16, 2008 22oz Bottle. The pour is pinkish red with a small head that quickly disappears from the glass. The aroma is obviously fruity with just a touch of sourness. The flavor reveals more than just cherries, or at least the flavors have developed into more. I’m getting something lighter than the cherries, like citrus. But there is also a nice full cherry flavor. It all seems a bit candy-ish, but it wasn’t bad. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Nice thick bright red amber with a decent off-white head. Smell is light sweet malt and berries. Flavor is tart berries with a lemon touch and huge plum flavor. Mouthfeel is a touch too bubbly but otherwise is nice. Flavor is watered down plum with a splash of lemon. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Pours a dark maroon opaque color with a medium lived beige head. Smell is lightly fruity malt and perhaps a touch of almost cinnamony spice. Taste is tart, sweet fruitiness reminiscent of plums and perhaps cherries. Dry plum like flavor, and very crisp and refreshing. Surprisingly good compared to the overall ratings. Quenching and enjoyable. Thanks again! pineypower (1096), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA

Taste is of some tart cherries with a little malt for balance, slightly dry finish. Overall it just didn’t all come together for me mansquito (829), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Slightly red and muddy brown colored. Really big head to it, especially for a fruit beer. Slight cherry aroma with something else in the smell that I can’t pick out at the moment. Pretty sour tasting. Tart cherry flavors are most prominent. Tiny bit of the taste of malts. I actually did not really think it to be that great.
