| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 11, 2007 Pours a clear copper orange with ruby hues and a decent-lacing wispy white head. Aroma of semi-sweet pale malt with a citric cherry tartness. Body starts pretty thin and semi-sweet with a lot of fruity cherry tartness toward a thinner sweet-tart finish. A pretty bland, overly tart and thin fruit beer. Cletus (5059), Connecticut, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Apr 13, 2007 Tap at Hop Devil Grill. Light pale pink tinted brew. Lightly fruity aroma with a hint of sweet cherry. Nasty band-aid aroma all over this. Flavour is thin and the palate is watery. A bit of dry wheatiness. Light acidity on the back… don’t even bother with this one. ¾ (5009), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2007 Bottle. With a color of peach rind and red rust, and a moderately opaque cloudiness, this beer look really darn inviting. Kind of a simple nose, with your basic raspberry and more light maraschino cherry, it’s sweet on the nose and pretty simple. But when tasted it’s something else entirely – tangy, biting on the tongue, just a little bit sour, with a high level of sour lemon juice across the back especially. Flavorful, sour apples and sour black cherries tasted, finishing with a tangy and almost kriek-like sourness, though not as heavy as you would expect with kriek. Quite good, but again the nose is disappointing. Cornfield (4977), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 13, 2007 The body is a clear copper/amber color. It has a slender head yet performs much intricate lacing. The aroma is malty with light sweet cherry scents and a pit or two thrown in. It tastes of sweet malts with sweet/tart cherries and a cherry pit bitterness. Not very interesting, but at least it’s not just another American wheat with some cherry juice thrown in.
