Pours to a light ruby red color, with a soapy, pink head that fades, and a moderate carbonation. The nose on this beer is very inviting, with aroma of sweet cherry blossom, and light hop aroma. The palate is firm, with good pale and caramel malt flavors, paired with a refreshing, sour cherry flavor. This beer finishes with more good pale and caramel malt up front, then ends with a refreshing, tangy, cherry sourness that lingers. Very well done fruit beer, that has excellent cherry aromas and flavors that work in harmony with the malt and hop character. You know you are still drinking a beer here, and the cherry character makes it even better. Would make a wonderful aperitif, and very food friendly. I really enjoyed this one, and anyone who appreciates, and "gets" fruit beers, will like this one as well. kitschy (207), Nebraska, USA

Brownish-red body with a half inch of off-white head that dissipates quickly but leaves some lacing. Smells floral more than anything, with hints of berry-like aroma too. Tastes slightly like cherries with a floral aspect to it too. Sweet with just a little tartness to it. Light body combines with pleasant flavor to create a surprisingly drinkable beer. This is very good. secretskull (7), holbrook, New York, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 14, 2007 i see this got a real bad rating so what i like it bought my first six pack went back for another one today . this was my 100th different beer this year and im glad it was SSSteve (2080), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 14, 2009 Pours a nice coppery brown with a fairly thick if not persistent head. Aroma is malty, yeasty, slightly fruity and a bit sweet, typical for an ale. Flavor is quite fruity, rather like a cider, a little fruity-sweet with a firm tone of cherry and some malt. Texture is quite smooth and a little fizzy, leaving a sour cherry finish.
