It was also dry hopped with Centennial so the aroma was great. Quite hoppy, but not overpowering and the malt flavor was excellent. Really, really well made. bconley (351), Fern Park, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 23, 2009 On tap at Mellow Mushroom. Really pretty IPA. Clear and hoppy...very crisp. Very evergreen. Medium golden amber body, with white head. The style is growing on me more and more. Really spicy hoppy. Juancho (225), Clearwater Beach, Georgia, USA

Im partial to big, thick, hazy, unfiltered looking beers. This one was medium bodied, translucent and not extremely hoppy...YET for a regular IPA it was fabulous. I kept going back for more. Great flavor in a great session beer. zer0crew (61), Duluth, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 20, 2009 Bottle. Pours very clear with a tiny bit of head. (Mine looks like it has chunks of yeast/brewing debris in it, but maybe mine is just bad/old? Other than that, it looks crystal clear.) Very bitter, but it’s a very sharp, precise kind of bitter with very little after taste. I like it. mempath (12), Media, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Mar 14, 2009 boom...blew me away...can’t say it is perfection on all counts since i need time to process this...this is immediately enjoyable but mysterious, too. a most beautiful nose (muscat/grapefruit) and a taste that suggests hops and more hops and maybe malt (asleep)...no sweetness amid all that juniper/menthol puckering going on. nothing like this. highly recommended for hopheads. a new level of extreme for sure... | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 13, 2009 Comes out of the tap a hazy amber with a fluffy, fine-bubbled head. Aroma is strong, evergreenish, and seriously hoppy, promising an excellent IPA. Flavor is ferociously hoppy so it is like drinking a pine tree - what I like in this kind of beer! Texture is edge and jazzy, yet smooth and pleasant, leaving a hoppy bitter aftertaste. Strongly recommended for IPA nuts! smith4498 (945), Miami, Florida, USA
