It’s like the Bartyls & James of craft beer sittin’ there. I’d nuy this again, but it is a little pricey. dkachur (2411), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 2, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville, best by Jan-Feb 2009. Hazy orange color with floaties. 2-finger head dissipates quickly but leaves nice lacing. Very malty aroma with a slight citrus hop twinge. Taste is much more bitter, but still very smooth and with a nice maltiness to balance it out. Resin, citrus and pine notes. Full bodied. TeamTrappist (405), jericho, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 2, 2008 Bottle, poured a medium amber with a thin white head. Very nice and very hoppy nose, piny and citrusy. medium bodied, with a big, but not as big as the nose hop flavor. Finish is very bitter, is it possible that the finish is too bitter for the front hops? Maybe. I really like this beer, but there is something in the finish that is a bit off for me. But that should not prevent you from trying and enjoying this quality beer. Spab (299), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 1, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange gold with very minimal white head. Strong citrusy hops in the nose. Some sweet malts in the taste giving way to the aforementioned hops and a bitter finish. A good solid IPA. Rune (2845), Tromsø, Norway

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 29, 2008 Had this on tap at the Harrisburg Brewfest. Fully diminished white head. Aroma was bitter with spruce and pine resin with some citrus/grapefruit. Didn’t taste much of the Siimcoe of which I’m a hug fan. Color was deep gold. Bitterness lasts through the entirety.
