Lots of chunks of sediment in the bottle. Aroma is hoppy...citrus/orange and grass/vegetative and some spicier notes. Flavor is mostly hops and very bitter throughout, although a carmelly malt backbone comes through. Mouthfeel is medium; moderate carbonation. This had a very bitter hop profile but just didn’t taste fresh to me and I have to wonder if the bottle wasn’t past its prime (although the best by date would indicate that it was at least close). wamoore84 (20), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Citrus prominent in both the smell and taste. Could drink these all day. A great beer. bombshelter (349), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 21, 2007 Bottle from liquor store at Q/ct. Cloudy gold, thin white-ish head. Aroma is all hops: citrus, pine. Flavor, likewise: there is malt in this beer, but it takes a decidedly backseat to the piney, grapefruity hops. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 11, 2007 Easy IPA. Not too hoppy. A go to for anyone who wants to find there IPA. I give this one to friends who may not know what an IPA is or what it may taste like. Don’t have many friends like that anymore but.. Bitter up front and lingers a little but has a little sweetness to balance it out. ucusty (1912), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA
