IT IS SO ROBUST IN ITS HOPS THAT THERE IS ACTUAL BITS OF HOPS FLOATING IN IT, VERY CRISPY AND DELICIOUSLY BITTER LIKE A TOASTED GRAPEFRUIT. thefle (113), , New Jersey, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Aug 1, 2009 Golden pour. Smells strongly of hops, some citrus too. Taste is hopped up to the extreme, a must-have for hop lovers. Pretty bitter, very tasty. A true delight for IPA fans everywhere.
Also, funniest picture I’ve ever seen on a beer bottle - two old guys in lawn chairs with a bunch of beer bottles all over the lawn. Gotta love it. ChristianScheffel (4632), Odense, Denmark

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jul 24, 2009 Updated: Aug 30, 2009Draught, at Mugs Alehouse, Brooklyn on 22nd July 2009. Gold with white head that lasts some time and gives a fair amount of lacing. Intensely hoppy with huge flavour burst some may find an acquired taste. Herby hops balanced by some floral fruit then deliver a sharp, bitter aftertaste on a zingy mouthfeel. Exquisite, and nice to be re-acquiainted after three years! Even better to have reached the 100 club with this rating!! ** Also enjoyed at Rattle & Hum, under Smuttynose Finest Kind IPA, scoring 8-4-7-4-18.
